This week's episode of Monday MocTalk previews the upcoming Blue & Gold match on Thursday, Oct. 29.  Head Coach Heath Eslinger discusses the lineups and festivities around the annual intrasquad scrimmage.  Action gets started on Thursday at 6:00 p.m. (E.D.T.) in Maclellan Gym.  Admission is FREE for all spectators. 

"I want to see our guys compete hard," said Eslinger when asked about his expectations for the Blue-Gold Match.  "I also want to see some areas that we have not addressed.  We want to be able to go back to the practice room and get better before Stanford shows up on Nov. 7."

"Our Blue-Gold is not a true wrestle-off," added Eslinger.  "It is a time for our guys to compete, but we are going to put the 10 best guys out there that give us the best shot to win in any given match.  It is a little bit different philosophy for me in that regards. 

"I think our guys are hungry to compete under the lights.  This will be a good chance for us to showcase some of the guys that people don't know on our team and a chance to educate ourselves on some strengths and weaknesses and where we can get better as a team."
