Tuesday – Dec. 8, 2015TEAM- The Mocs posted a 91-63 win over Tennessee Wesleyan tonight … UTC improved to 6-2 while the Bulldogs dropped to 6-2.
- UTC never trailed in the game.
- TWC's Tre Tiller hit a three with 16:14 left in the first half to make the score 8-7 in favor of UTC … the Mocs then went on a 19-3 run over the next nine minutes to blow the game open and eventually lead 44-23 at the break.
- UTC forced 10 turnovers that led to 14 points in the first half.
- The Mocs got a season-high 47 points off the bench … led by a career-high 19 from
Duke Ethridge … most points off the bench since getting 65 in last season's 104-50 win against Montreat on this same date (Dec. 8, 2014).
- The Mocs are off to a 6-2 start for the first time since 2004-05.
- UTC made a season-high 23 free throws … 23-28 (82.1%).
- Mocs had 12 steals in the game … third time this season with 10+.
- Chattanooga shot 30-58 (51.7%) from the field … fourth time this season shooting over 50% in a game … came into the game leading the SoCon in FG% at 47.6% for the year … only did it seven times all of last season.
