- The 12th-seeded Chattanooga Mocs fall to the fifth-seeded Mississippi State Bulldogs 60-50 in the first round of the NCAA Tournament in Starkville, Miss.

- The Mocs end their season with a 24-8 overall record … Mississippi State improved to 27-7.

- The Mocs made their 14th appearance in the NCAA Tournament. 

- UTC held a 16-11 lead after the first quarter, but Mississippi State used an 18-5 second frame to take control of the game.

- The Mocs trail by only three 49-46 with 5:57 left to play on a pair of Jasmine Joyner free throws. 

- The Mocs tied a season-high with 18 personal fouls … came into the game No. 2 in the nation in fewest fouls per game (11.4).

INDIVIDUAL
Aryanna Gilbert – So.-G
- 10 points on 5-9 shooting.
- Fifth game in double-figures this season … 10th of her career.
- Played all 40 minutes for the first time in her career.

Keiana Gilbert – So.-G
- 10 points on 4-11 shooting, 2-2 from the FT line.
- Team-high six boards.
- Played all 40 minutes for the eighth time this season.

Jasmine Joyner – Jr.-F
- Scored 17 points before fouling out.
- Shot 7-10 from the field, 1-2 from behind the arc and 2-2 from the FT line.
- Only played three minutes in the first half due to foul trouble.
- Topped 900 career points in the game (910).
