TEAM
• Chattanooga fell 65-48 at Furman … The Mocs are 12-9 overall and 6-1 SoCon … Furman improves to 12-11 on the year and 4-2 SoCon.

• The loss snapped the Mocs' seven-game win streak and 14-game SoCon regular season win streak.

• Chattanooga remains in first place in the SoCon, tied with Mercer who beat Samford today … the two teams will meet in Chattanooga Thursday … UTC won the first meeting.

• The Mocs are 51-22 all-time against Furman, 21-12 in Greenville … the loss snapped a 10-game win streak against the Paladins.

• UTC was 17-of-52 for the game (32.7%) … the Mocs were 2-of-16 (12.5%) in the fourth quarter.

• Furman outrebounded UTC 41-30 … edged the Mocs 20-18 in the paint and 21-15 off turnovers.

• Chattanooga trailed 26-18 with 1:16 to play in the second quarter. Keiana Gilbert and Chelsey Shumpert hit back-to-back 3-pointers to get the Mocs to two points, 26-24 going into halftime.

• Furman started the third quarter with nine straight points and a 13-3 run to take a 39-27 lead with 6:32 to play in the frame … Chattanooga responded with a 12-5 run over the next 3:03 to cut the lead to 46-41 … Furman stretched it back out to nine at the end of the period.
