Thanks to today's '30 Minutes or Less' promotion, the Chattanooga Mocs have topped the 2,000 mark for football season ticket sales for just the third time in school history.   

The Mocs' '30 Minutes or Less' promotion guaranteed that all season ticket orders over the phone from 10 a.m. to 4 pm. today would be hand-delivered in the campus area in 30 minutes or less, or the tickets were free.  Members of the UTC Athletics department delivered 47 tickets throughout the day and all were delivered within the required time frame. 

Head football coach Russ Huesman took the first orders from McKenzie Arena while Director of Athletics Rick Hart also got into the act later in the day. 

UTC has now sold 2,031 tickets for the upcoming football season, the second highest number in school history.  The Mocs' record is 2,300 set during the first year of football in Finley Stadium in 1997.  UTC also topped 2,000 season tickets in 1998 when they sold 2,003.

The Mocs season-opener is just over two weeks away against Glenville State on Thursday, Sept. 3, at 7 p.m. (E.D.T.) at Finley Stadium.  Season tickets begin at $22 for youth, alumni, faculty and staff and can be purchased at the UTC Ticket Office - (423) 266-MOCS (6627) - or online at GoMocs.com.
