CHATTANOOGA (October 30, 2023) --- With tonight's free Boo & Gold Halloween fan event to preview the Chattanooga Mocs men's and women's basketball teams ahead of the 2023-24 season, fans will also receive first sights of numerous new and exciting Aramark concession upgrades around the McKenzie Arena concourse.
 
Aramark and the Chattanooga Athletics Department have established upgrades that include fully redesigned concession and team store stands to match UTC branding, new appliances, digital menu boards and larger live-feed TVs outside each stand, new eateries, and much more. (see below)
 
The concession upgrades will directly and positively impact the overall gameday experience for fans, season-ticket holders, donors and members of the Chattanooga community. The upgrades solidify the department's commitment to enhancing the overall fan experience during Mocs home events.
 
"As we continue to receive and evaluate our fans gameday experience feedback and opinions, we noticed a need to enhance an overall experience in the concessions area," Vice-Chancellor for Athletics Mark Wharton noted.
 
"We're extremely grateful for Aramark's investment towards Chattanooga Athletics and our fans. This is an exciting development that we believe will supply our fans with an even more enjoyable gameday experience."
 
A quick look at the upgrades & things to expect during a Chattanooga basketball gameday in 2023-24:
 

• Full redesign of stands across the concourse including new appliances
• More digital-viewing capabilities including digital menus & larger live-feed TVs
• The addition of local establishment The Co-Op Frosé & Eatery, offering limited menu items and world famous Frosé. Dippin' Dots will also now be available
• Newly revamped UTC Team Store at Stand 226 each game
• An overall heightened food & beverage experience

 
The 2023-24 season kicks off with a day-night doubleheader next Monday, November 6 starting with the women's team taking on King University at 11 a.m. ET before the men's program faces Covenant College in the nightcap at 7 p.m. ET. Tickets are on sale now with important information found below.
