CHATTANOOGA, Tenn.---The Chattanooga Mocs men's golf team completes the fall portion of its season at the Bridgestone Golf Collegiate in Greensboro, N.C. The Grandover Resort East Course hosts the 14-team field that features 10 teams ranked in the top 100 (Golfstat) including two in the Top 20 – No. 18 North Carolina and No. 20 Purdue.

Chattanooga is making its fourth appearance in the tourney and has enjoyed strong success at Grandover East. The previous three entries finished second, second and third as a team, while individuals accounted for a win (former All-American Chris Robb, 2012), three top 5s and six top 10s.

"This is a great opportunity for us," coach Mark Guhne noted. "We've been close throughout the fall to some really strong performances, but have just fallen short. UNCG has a great field assembled and a good finish this week puts us in good shape going into the spring. We are still learning, but we know we are better than our results.

"We need to show that this week."

Freshman Lake Johnson (77.91) returns to the starting lineup this week. He joins juniors Wes Gosselin (72.45) and Brooks Thomas (74.82), along with sophomores Stuart Thomas (75.18) and Andrew Weathers (73.38). Junior Kory Webb (77.82) is playing as an individual.
