The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga women's team battled a rain-soaked afternoon at the Elon Invitational in Elon, N.C.  The Mocs scored two singles wins and have doubles play left on Sunday.

Senior Alison Storie is the lone Moc still alive in singles.  She defeated UNC Asheville's Ericka Rivero (2-6, 6-3, 1-0 (9)) in the Phoenix Backdraw.  She is in the consolation semifinals tomorrow against Emory's Beatrice Rosen.

Freshman McKenzie Barco advanced to the Oak Flight semifinals with a 6-2, 6-0 win over USC Upstate's Sarah Vande Berg.  She lost in the semis in three sets to Emory's Daniela Lopez (2-6, 6-3, 1-0 (6)). 

Both doubles teams are in action tomorrow.  Senior Katie Polk and junior Rachele Gazzola are in the Oak Bracket consolation finals.  Storie and freshman Sydney Patton are in the finals of the Powell Flight.
