TEAM
- The No. 8 Chattanooga Mocs dropped a 23-20 battle to No. 7 Jacksonville State tonight.
- Tonight's attendance was 15,812. That is the third largest crowd in school history. It is the largest crowd since 17,414 saw a 35-27 Homecoming win over Georgia Southern on Oct. 16, 2010.
- JSU's Troymaine Pope had 173 rushing yards on 15 carries … most rushing yards against UTC since Robert Brown of Georgia Southern had 178 on Oct. 8, 2011.
- The Mocs punting game was impressive, with Henrique Ribeiro and Alejandro Bennifield splitting the four kicks. Together they averaged 56.2 yards per punt. Ribeiro was 51.5 with a long of 61. Bennifield was 61.0 with a long of 65.

INDIVIDUAL
Alejandro Bennifield – So.-P/QB
- Punted twice for a 61.0 average … 56 yards and 65 yards.
- Would be a school record for single-game average if he had enough kicks.

C.J. Board – Jr.-WR/PR
- Three returns for 53 yards.
- Career-long of 48.

Jacob Huesman – Sr.-QB
- 50 rushing yards and a TD on 19 carries.
- 31^st career TD is a school-record, breaking a tie with former teammate Keon Williams (2010-14).
- 9-16 passing for 86 yards and one INT.

Montrell Pardue - Fr.-DB
- First career start at safety.
- 55-yard fumble recovery for a TD.
- Fifth longest fumble return for a TD in school history.
- Longest since Jeff Phillips had a 63-yarder against Georgia Southern on Sept. 22, 2007.

Henrique Ribeiro – Jr.-K
- 2-2 on FGs (30, 33).
- Two punts for an average of 51.5 yards … long of 61.
