TEAM
- The Mocs moved into first place in the SoCon race with a 94-84 win over ETSU tonight … UTC improves to 16-3 overall and 5-1 in league play with wins in 11 of its last 12 outings … ETSU had its six-game winning streak snapped to drop to 11-7 overall and a ½-game back of the Mocs at 4-1 in SoCon action.

- Tonight's attendance was 5,003 … largest of the season for UTC and the largest home crowd in the SoCon this season. 

- 15th straight home win for the Mocs.

- 16-3 start is the best since the 1983-84 Mocs opened with the same mark…that squad played in the NIT beating Georgia (1983 Final 4 team) in overtime in the Roundhouse before a narrow two-point loss at Tennessee.

- UTC's 94 points are the most at home this season… second overall … most points in a SoCon contest since 111 in a 111-110 (2OT) win over UNCG on Jan. 27, 2011 … most in regulation since 100 in 100-87 victory over Georgia Southern on Jan. 31, 2009.

- UTC took (36) and made (29) a season-high from the FT line.

- Mocs led 45-43 at the break and improve to 13-0 on the year when leading at the half.

- UTC started the second half on an 11-0 run and held ETSU scoreless for the first four minutes … Bucs got no closer than seven points the rest of the way. 

- 14-0 when scoring 70+ points.

- UTC and ETSU entered the contest first (47.0%) and second (46.4%), respectively, in FG percentage and 3pt percentage in the SoCon … Mocs shot 27-50 (54.0%) and ETSU shot 28-64 (43.8%).

- UTC is 7-0 when shooting over 50% from the field.

- Mocs are shooting 50.6% from the field the last three games. 

- ETSU was strong on the offensive glass, outrebounding the Mocs 13-5 and holding a 12-1 edge in second chance points. 

- Mocs had two players score 20 points (McLean 29, Tuoyo 20) for the second time this season … other was Johnathan Burroughs-Cook (23) and Casey Jones (23) in a 92-90 (OT) win at Georgia to open the year. 

- The Mocs only turned it over eight times … tied for second lowest this season … fifth time with less than 10 TOs in a game … second in last three outings … only 26 TOs total in the last three games. 

- Last 5-1 start in the SoCon? Last year (7-1).

- 392-221 in regular season SoCon games…239-67 at home.

- 45-33 series lead for UTC…24-8 in Chattanooga…33-18 in SoCon regular season matchups…won last three in the series and four of the past five.

- Final contest in a four-games-in-eight-day stretch…3-1 during that span.

- No. 10 in this week's CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major Top 25…ETSU received votes.

INDIVIDUAL
Chuck Ester – Jr.-F
- Tied a career-high with a game-high three steals.
- Added nine points, six boards and three assists.
- Shot 2-5 from the field and 5-6 from the FT line.

Tre' McLean – Jr.-G
- Career-high and game-high 29 points … first 20-point game of his career.
- Most points by a Moc this season … most since Z. Mason scored 30 against The Citadel on Jan. 6, 2014. 
- Shot 10-15 from the field, 4-7 from 3-pt. range and 5-6 from the FT line.
- Career-high for threes made and attempted.
- Added six rebounds.

Dee Oldham – Sr.-G
- Eight points in 16 minutes off the bench.
- Shot 2-2 from 3-pt. range and 2-2 from the FT line.

Greg Pryor – Jr.-G
- Game-high five assists.
- Passed John Gibson (1985-86) for 18th on the Mocs' all-time assist list (211).
- Added eight points and four boards.
- Shot 1-5 from the field, but 6-7 from the FT line.

Eric Robertson – Sr.-G
- 15 points on 5-8 shooting from 3-pt. range.
- Snapped out of a 2-13 slump the previous three games.
- 5 threes tied a season-high for the fifth time. 
- Passed John Oliver (1994-96) for No. 12 on the Mocs all-time 3-pointers made list (366).

Justin Tuoyo – Jr.-F
- 20 points, six boards and a season-high six blocks.
- Shot 6-10 from the field and 8-11 from the FT line.
- Third 20-point game of the season … second in a row … fourth in his career.
- 33 minutes tied a season-high.
- 18 ppg last three games … shooting 63% (17-27) from the field and 83.3% (20-24) from the FT line.
