Putting loss to The Citadel behind.
"The biggest thing is watching the film and correcting the mistakes. That way you'll go into the next week and not make the same mistakes that you did the previous week."
On VMI.
"We'll approach this game like we have all year and not do anything different. We'll watch film on them and we'll have to prepare really well this week because they're a good team."
Team attitude moving forward.
"Our guys know the season isn't over. We all know we just have to come back and work even harder than we have been. We'll take it week-by-week and focus on taking it one game at a time and we'll be fine."

Russ Huesman, head football coach
On loss to The Citadel.
"It was a tough loss. I give our guys credit they played hard and fought all game for 60 minutes, both teams did. We had some opportunities to make some plays and didn't while they made plays. We didn't force any turnovers on defense and that's something you have to do against the triple-option. I know our guys have moved forward and we put it behind us. We have to get ready for a good VMI team this week."
Previewing VMI.
"They are playing good football right now. Offensively, they have an outstanding quarterback (Al Cobb), who has been really good and is an excellent player. Their wide-outs can go out and get the ball. I have been really impressed with them. They also have an experienced offensive line. Defensively, they have some really good players. They are extremely competitive and play tough. I think VMI has really become a team that can beat anybody in the league."
Getting back on track after the loss.
"We just have to win a game this week. It feels like forever since we won a game. I can't wait to play another game and try to get that loss out of here and start another streak. All we have to worry about is VMI right now. Sometimes you take winning for granted, and you can't. When you win one you need to be excited about it but not take it for granted. Our kids will go back to work this weekend, come out and play hard on Saturday."
Switching gears defensively from facing The Citadel to VMI.
"It's different. They throw the ball really well and that's obvious. It's a completely different game, but they'll still spread you out sideline to sideline just in a different way. We have to switch gears big time pretty quickly and slow down their passing game."

Keionta Davis, defensive lineman, senior
On rebounding from the loss to The Citadel.
"It was tough. We played hard, but just didn't come out with the result we wanted. I know our team is ready to go back out there and play. We can see the hunger and energy in work-outs now and I know we will come out and play hard (Saturday)."
Learning from the first loss of the season.
"I think we have learned a lot from this game. I think we have learned to take advantage of the small opportunities that happen in a game and we have to get better in not missing those chances."
Moving on to the next game (vs. VMI).
"You can't dwell on one loss. I know our team is ready and there's a lot of games left. You have to go out and play football every Saturday, there's no time to be sad over it. We didn't get what we want so next time we have to work harder to get what we want."
On VMI game Saturday.
"They play every team in the conference close and we have to be ready for them. We have to come out and take advantage of any opportunity we get. We will be ready to play again on Saturday."
