TEAM
- The No. 8 Chattanooga Mocs scored a 30-13 win over VMI today.  UTC improves to 7-1 overall and 5-1 in SoCon action.  The Keydets dropped to 3-4 and 1-3 in league action.
- The 2016 senior class now has a school-record 44 wins, making this the most successful four-year run in school history.
2013 – 8-3, 6-2 SoCon/Co-Champions
2014 – 10-4, 7-0 SoCon/Champions
2015 – 9-4, 6-1 SoCon/Co-Champions
2016 – 7-1, 5-1 SoCon
- The Mocs shut out a team in the first half for the third time this season.
- Mocs defense opened the game forcing three straight three-and-outs … six in the seven first-half VMI possessions.
- UTC had 292 yards on 45 plays in the first half … VMI has 39 yards on 23 plays … Mocs finished with 519 yards (297 rush to 222 pass) compared to 249 (11 rush, 238 pass) for VMI … third game this season with 500+ yards of offense. 
- All 13 of VMI's points and 115 of their 249 yards came in the third quarter. 
- Season-low 11 rushing yards allowed … sixth time allowing less than 100 yards … third time allowing less than 50.
- Fifth game this season the Mocs have held an opponent to less than 14 points … came into the game No. 2 in the nation in scoring defense at 13.6 ppg. 
- UTC's 297 rushing yards is a season-high … most since putting up 349 last season against Fordham in the FCS Playoffs.
- Mocs held VMI to just 2/14 on third down … UTC came into the game No. 1 in the SoCon on third-down defense (30.4%).
- This is the 14th-straight SoCon home win for Chattanooga, dating back to a 38-31 OT loss to No. 2 Georgia Southern on Oct. 27, 2012 … Mocs are 22-8 in SoCon home games in the Russ Huesman era (Since 2009).  
- UTC has won all three games against VMI since the Keydets rejoined the SoCon in 2014.
- As a program, UTC has 22 seven-win seasons … four of those are in the eight years under Russ Huesman.
- The Mocs did not force or commit a turnover for the second straight game.
- UTC broke up a season-high seven passes today … most since posting that same number against Austin Peay on Sept. 14, 2013. 
- Mocs had a season-high 6.0 sacks in the game … most since 6.0 at Samford last year.

INDIVIDUAL
Richardre Bagley – Jr.-RB
- Started in place of the injured Derrick Craine … seventh career start for Bagley … first this season.
- Career-highs with 189 yards and two TDs on 23 carries.
- 1st career 100-yard game.
- Scored on a 27-yard run in the third quarter and a 45-yard run in the fourth.
- Also had two catches for four yards.

Alejandro Bennifield – Jr.-QB
- 21-33 passing for 224 yards and a TD.
- Ran eight times for 36 yards and a score.
- Came out in the fourth quarter with an injury.
- Five rushing TDs and 17 passing this season.

C.J. Board – Sr.-WR
- 28-yard reception in the second quarter extended his catch streak to 25 games.
- Fourth-longest streak in school history.
- Finished with two catches for 35 yards.
- 126 career catches passes Faysal Shafaat (2011-14) for ninth all-time at UTC.

Keionta Davis – Sr.-DL
- Tied a career-high with 3.0 sacks.
- Career-high three QBHs.
- Second all-time at UTC with 28.5 sacks in his career.
- Finished with four tackles. 

DeJuan McQuarters – So.-WR
- Career highs with three catches for 22 yards.

Bingo Morton – So.-WR
- 1st career TD catch in the first quarter … 21 yards on a screen pass.
- Two catches for a career-high 26 yards.

Henrique Ribeiro
- Made a 30-yard FG in the second quarter.
- 6-8 this season.
- 42-56 (75%) in his career … needs two more to tie Matt Vick (1997-00) for the school record for makes.
- 271 career points extends his UTC record.

Tyler Roberson – Jr.-QB
- Ran the team in the fourth quarter.
- Four carries for 43 yards … long run of 24 on third and four.

James Stovall – Jr.-WR
- Tied a career-high with six catches.
- Team high 61 receiving yards.
- Caught a pass in 20 straight games.

Alex Trotter – So.-RB
- Career highs with eight carries for 31 yards.

Dale Warren – Jr.-LB
- Tied a career-high with 3.0 TFLs.
- Team-high five tackles overall.
- Added a breakup and a hurry.
