Kickoff for Saturday's game is at 3:00 p.m. (EDT) in Cullowhee, N.C.
The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga head football coach Russ Huesman, junior defensive back Trevor Wright, and junior running back Richardre Bagley met with local media on Tuesday to preview this week's game with Western Carolina.

Trevor Wright, defensive back, junior
Being a part of a highly ranked defense.
"It's very special. Just doing everything we're doing at such a high level of performance, it's awesome to be a part of. But we know we can do a lot more and keep going and raise the bar of expectation for our defense."
Preparing for Western Carolina's athletic QB play.
"It makes you realize you have to be more aware on every play and make sure to cover your guy. A quarterback (Tyrie Adams) like that can scramble out of the pocket and create longer plays so you have to stay on your receiver longer and not fall asleep."
On WCU.
"We have to go in this game and be at our best. They look really good on film and have a lot of skill players all over the field. We will go in with the same mindset as we always do and play our style of football because it's the next game on the schedule. They are going to give us their best shot and we have to be ready for it."

On win over VMI on Saturday.
"It was a big win. This time of year any kind of win you can get makes no difference how pretty it looks and there's no style points. We got a win and that's what we needed. It was probably a little tighter than we'd like but you have to give credit to VMI, they came out in the second half and out-played us. They played really well and made some plays. We hung in there and got the job done. It was definitely a big win at home."
Previewing Western Carolina.
"We're getting ready to play a dangerous team in Western Carolina. They have excellent athletes both offensively and defensively. They can run the ball and their quarterback (Tyrie Adams) is one of the most dynamic players in the league. We're playing a very athletic team that can go get the ball. I know they will be excited and ready to play as it's their homecoming. We have a big test this week and we're looking forward to it."
On utilizing Bagley last Saturday.
"You have to give credit to the offensive line and the wide-outs for their blocking. Sometimes they're not mentioned very often when you have a big rushing day. They're blocking down field and doing a great job. Richardre (Bagley) had an excellent game. He stepped up big when we needed him most and overall played really well. His last touchdown run was something we really needed to put the game away."
On Western Carolina's quarterback (Tyrie Adams).
"He is very good, really athletic and throws a great ball. He's got great arm strength and can make you miss outside the pocket. He's really impressive on film and we'll see it when we get there."
On trying to hit bye-week in stride.
"You always want to win before you have a bye-week because if you don't it sits with you for a long time. We are only concerned about ourselves this week and how we play trying to to get a win and another Southern Conference win."
Richardre Bagley, running back, junior
Making the most of the opportunity last Saturday.
"I wanted to do the best that I could. I knew I was going to have a lot more carries and opportunities. I just wanted to show what I could do."
On 45-yard touchdown run.
"It was a great read by Tyler (Roberson) to begin the play. Our receivers on the outside both had great blocks which created a big lane that I could shoot through. Coach (Huesman) always says to trust my speed so that's what I did."
On contributing to win on Saturday with the absence of fellow running back Derrick Craine.
"I'm definitely happy I could contribute in the way I did. I'm never satisfied and always think of the plays I left out there. I'm going to try to make up for the yards I left out there this week. I think Derrick was more happy than I was. He was so ecstatic and happy for me that I could perform like that. I think he was one of the happiest people in the stadium outside myself and my family. That's just who he is as a teammate."
On Western Carolina.
"They are loaded with athletes and are a dangerous team. Every time we've played Western they've always showcased those athletes against us. Both on the offensive and defensive end they can create a big play. They're very fast and flow to the ball really well. It's the next game so we are preparing extra hard and focusing that much more this week."
