Matt McCall, Head Coach
On win over Tennesee on the road.
"To play an SEC opponent, in an environment like this, against a great team and a great head coach (Rick Barnes), and actually win the game. It's unbelievable for your players, your program and the city of Chattanooga. A lot of excitement here tonight."

Thoughts on the team effort.
"Those guys played the right way tonight. We were going to be able to get down the lane against Tennessee's pressure. Our guys made the right plays and played the right way. Our point guard Greg Pryor had four assists and Rodney Chatman really responded. As a true freshman, in this environment he really responded tonight, him and Nat Dixon both as their first college basketball game. I'm really proud of those guys."

Early game jitters.
"It was the first game in a tough environment. I thought we had some good looks that just didn't go down. One guy I thought played well, that I'm really proud and made tremendous strides was Johnathan Burroughs-Cook. He really played the right way tonight. After getting in foul-trouble early he responded awesome and was really good tonight."

Justin Tuoyo, Senior
On win over Tennessee in Knoxville.
"It was a great win tonight that we are really happy to have as a team. These are the games you love against a great team and a great crowd, you just really get into these ones. It was fun."

The help getting easy looks.
"I was surrounded by great players out there. They all do the tough work and get in the lane, but I couldn't finish if it wasn't for them."

The ability to answer the Vols response.
"We've been here before. Basketball is a game of runs and we have great leaders on this team that stepped up and answered when we had to tonight."

Tre' McLean, Senior
On being back on the court.
"A lot of guys stepped up tonight and it was fun to be back out here tonight with all the guys."

Early game mishaps.
"We came out with a little bit of jitters as it was the first game of the season under the bright lights and in front of a great crowd. Once we gained some confidence we started scoring points and getting into a rhythm."

Building confidence with the young guys.
"As a team we have a lot of confidence. The young guys really didn't know what we are completely capable of with them not seeing last year's success. It was great to have them contribute and show them how good we can really be."
