CHATTANOOGA---The holiday spirit is alive and well at the Chattanooga Mocs ticket offices. With basketball season turning its eye upon the Southern Conference campaign, the powers that be in McKenzie Arena have two exciting ticket opportunities.
Â
There are four SoCon doubleheader days this season, always a popular event in the Roundhouse. The Doubleheader Ticket Pack covers all four game with a lower-level ticket for $55. Last year's doubleheaders all sold out in the lower level so this is a great chance to get a jump on the masses with games Jan. 21 (UNCG Women/Samford Men), Feb. 2 (Mercer Women/UNCG Men), Feb. 4 (Samford Women/Western Carolina Men) and Feb. 25 (Wofford Women/Mercer Men). Click the "DH Pack" link above to purchase this option.
Â
The combined men's and women's schedules include seven weeknight games as well. For $75, the "Weeknight Pack" nets a lower level seat for these contests: Jan. 5 vs. Wofford men, Jan. 11 vs. The Citadel men, Jan. 19 vs. Western Carolina women, Jan. 25 vs. VMI men, Feb. 2 vs. Mercer women/UNCG men and Feb. 23 vs. Furman women. Click the "Weeknight Pack" link above to purchase this option.
Â
The Chattanooga Mocs won both the Southern Conference men's and women's regular season titles. It was the first time since the 1992 season when it was home to Gig City as well. Five of the seven times a SoCon school has captured both, it was UTC bringing home the titles. The 2016 dynamic duo earned the first men's and women's SoCon Tournament crowns in the same season.
Â
It is a very sound investment in family entertainment. Over the last four years, the men are 45-5 (.900) in McKenzie Arena, while the women are 41-5 (.891) while riding a 43-game conference home win streak. Click the above links or call (423) 266-MOCS (6627) for more details.
