- The Chattanooga Mocs dropped to 5-8 overall following tonight's 79-58 loss to No. 2 Notre Dame. The Irish improved to 12-1 on the year.Â
- This was the Mocs's third game against at top-5 opponent this season … also lost at No. 4 Louisville (63-47) on Nov. 21 and at No. 1 UConn (80-43) on Nov. 29.
- The 3,388 in attendance tonight was the 14
th largest crowd in school history.

- Notre Dame jumped out to a 10-0 led wire-to-wire … Irish were up 26-12 after the first quarter, but UTC cut the lead to nine (30-21) on a layup by
Sydney Vanlandingham with 5:25 left to play in the half. Mocs only got within 14 points early in the second half.
- Notre Dame shot 56.1% (32-57) from the field … second highest FG% against UTC this season.
