Jim Foster, Head Coach

Keys to winning tonight and not fouling.
"Assist to turnover ratio was terrific and not fouling was also terrific. Not getting discouraged because they are physical and play hands on. They are a physical team and we handled that well. There's some things we talk about on a regular basis and that's one of them. We are starting to blend the young girls with the veterans."

On playing with multiple point guards.
"I like having multiple point guards. Chelsey (Shumpert) this year is probably her first year playing point guard and playing like a point guard. It has to be her this year. She's learning how to play the game for others. This is a sport where you play for others and not yourself. She has great decisions and good shot selection. She has taken that position and figured out how to do it in respects that she didn't know how before."

Playing tough schedule.
"We played two really good teams. Tennessee-Martin at home is really good and will probably play in the OVC Championship game. We are trying to play NCAA Tournament teams. If you don't want to play those kind of games then our issues would be too significant to overcome. It's going to make us tougher and we need that."

On not fouling.
"I think it's one of our attributes. We used to lead the country in that category. We will try to keep that up and ride status quo."

Chelsey Shumpert, R-Jr.-G
On what changed in second half.
"I think our mentality. We knew we had to step up the energy going into the second half. That helped us come back from half time and boost us a little bit."

On sharing the ball.
"We had a few good practices where we continued to push the ball, move the ball, and get everyone involved. That translated to defense so we basically push the ball and everything will work out in the end."

On working with Lakelyn Bouldin.
"She is a freshman but she catches on quickly. We work together. It doesn't matter who brings the ball up as long as we get it out quickly. She's a great shooter. All I have to do is find her or vice versa."

Jasmine Joyner, Sr.-F
On thinking about nearing triple-double.
"No not really. I knew I had a decent amount of blocks when you see your score up there. I was basically worrying about winning the game because this is a very good team. Stats are in the back of my mind."

On Chelsey Shumpert helping teammates on the court.
"It helps very well. I think it helps take the presence off of Lakelyn (Bouldin) because she's a freshman. You have Keiana (Gilbert) and Queen (Alford), other three point shooters that are open as well. It helps a lot. As you see we've been moving the ball a lot and passing the ball very well. We're starting to find our game and that's what we need."
