TEAM
- Chattanooga beat Western Carolina 65-51 today to move into second place in the Southern Conference standings … the Mocs improve to 18-7 overall and 9-2 in SoCon … The Catamounts fall to 6-19 overall and 2-9 in SoCon.
 
- The Mocs shot 92.3% (12-13) in the fourth quarter to outscore the Cats 27-10 … UTC missed its first attempt and then went 12-of-12.
 
- 65 is the fourth most points scored by the Mocs this season … most was 77 against WCU at home
 
- Chattanooga had just seven turnovers, second fewest this season and third time with less than 10 miscues.
 
- The Mocs are now 69-11 against the Catamounts and have won the last 12 games … UTC is 28-6 in Cullowhee.
 
- UTC was 1-of-12 from the 3-point line in the first half and 4-of-8 in the second half, making two each quarter.
 
- The Mocs edged WCU 36-30 in the paint … 21-7 on turnovers … WCU had 15 turnovers, Mocs had 7 … 7-6 on second chance points and 8-0 on fast break points … WCU's bench outscored UTC 16-11.
 
- Western Carolina outrebounded the Mocs 34-32 … UTC is 5-6 when outrebounded
