Head Coach Jim Foster
Do you look at this week as a redemption tour week?
"No. You play. Our job is to play, not to have all this stuff around it. We didn't like how we played down there. We didn't think we were a very good team at that point in the year. We made some adjustments. We figured some things out. It takes a while for each team to figure out who they are. Some figure it out kind of early and some it takes a little bit longer. I think we have a good idea of who we are and who we need to be."

With this win is it a good place to be right now?
"We need to take care of our business and all of the other stuff that's for you guys to talk about and to write about. We have to take care of our stuff this week. Get a little better. The last time we had a bye week we put some new stuff in and we'll probably do that this week, work on it diligently and then come out from there."

How big was the defensive effort on Kahlia Lawrence?
"Well we made her work. I think Moses [Johnson] did a terrific job. Red [Alicia Payne] was going to guard her, and then Red picked up a silly foul. And then when she got the legit foul she had to come to the bench and sit. So for her to go out in the second half and get none, that's a big deal for her. Moses in the interim I think used her length and moved her feet the way she needed to."

Did your scorers do what you wanted them to do?
"We changed up how we attacked them in the zone. It flowed well for us, and we just continued to move the ball and take care of the basketball when they went man. Nineteen assist, eleven turnovers is a pretty good ratio. The ball moved, we made them guard the whole floor, we're patient and got the kind of shots that are good shots for this team."

What are your thoughts as you look at the stat sheet?
"I was looking at how many players we have in double digits. I was actually looking at Queen's field goal and three pointers. I really didn't know she missed one but she was shooting well out there. Overall we played really well from the stat sheet and the way we played out on the court."

Was it a feel good win?
"Yes, it was definitely a feel good win. It was a very fun game actually; from the energy from the start to the end. It was a fun game."

What was your approach to the game?
"My approach to the game is every single game I come out and be competitive with the same amount of energy."

When you have a crowd that's into it early do you feed off of that atmosphere?
"Yes, plus every time we play Mercer it's always competitive."
