Monday – March 7, 2016TEAM- The top-seeded Chattanooga Mocs won the Southern Conference Tournament with a 73-67 win over ETSU tonight.Â
- UTC improves to 29-6 overall, while the second-seeded Bucs dropped to 23-10. Â
- This is the Mocs 11
th SoCon Tournament title … UTC is 11-7 in SoCon Championship games.
- Chattanooga's 11 SoCon titles are second only to Davidson's 12 … no team has won more since UTC joined the league in 1978 … first one since 2009.
- This is the first time both the men's and women's teams from the same school have won the tournament in the same year … UTC was ½-point shy of also taking the SoCon Wrestling Tournament, also held in Asheville this weekend.Â
- Mocs started the game 4-5 from 3-pt. range in the first 7:36 of the game … Robertson, Ethridge, JBC, Ester each hit on in the early going as UTC built a 16-9 lead with 12:24 left in the first … Mocs only made three of their last 15 attempts from behind the arc. Â
- Mocs led 38-26 at the half … all eight Mocs who played in the first 20 minutes scored at least one bucket and had at least one board.

Dee Oldham three at the 14:40 mark gave the Mocs a 48-37 lead … ETSU went on an 10-0 run to close to 48-47 with 11:55 left to play.Â
- Mocs did not have a FG for the final 4:43 of the game … 10-15 from the line instead.
- ETSU only had six turnovers in the game … forced the Mocs into 12 and had an 18-2 advantage on points off of turnovers.

- 13 points on 4-10 shooting, 1-4 from 3-pt. range and 4-6 from the FT line.
- Added six boards and three assists.

- Game-high nine boards off the bench.
- Also had nine points.
- Shot 2-4 from the field, 1-2 from 3-pt. range and 4-4 from the FT line.
Greg Pryor – Jr.-G –
Tournament MVP- 13 points on 3-10 shooting, 7-10 from the FT line.
- Three assists and two steals.
Eric Robertson – Sr.-G
- 12 points on 2-4 shooting, 2-3 from behind the arc and 6-6 from the FT line.
