- The Chattanooga Mocs scored a 58-55 win over UNCG today … UTC improves to 11-8 overall and 5-0 in SoCon play … UNCG dropped to 10-11 and 1-5 in SoCon action.
- The Mocs led by as many as 19 in the third quarter, 47-28 after a
Jasmine Joyner layup with 5:45 on the clock … UNCG closed the quarter on a 13-3 run to trail 50-41 going into the fourth.Â
- The Spartans were 4-6 from behind the arc in the final frame, and cut the lead to two with the ball with just over a minute left.
- The Spartans were 11-22 (50.0%) from 3-pt. range for the game … most threes allowed this season or UTC … UNCG came into the game shooting 29.7% from behind the arc … most threes allowed by UTC since Samford had 11 on Jan. 18, 2012.   Â
- UNCG's Bailey Williams posted a game-high 20 points on 7-13 shooting, 6-9 from 3-pt. range … six 3-pointers are the most by a UTC opponent in McKenzie Arena history … she came into the game 7-19 (36.8%) on the year.  Â

- Played all 40 minutes.
- Added five blocks … three in the first quarter.
- 1,129 career points passes Nancy Smith (1988-91) for 21
st all-time at UTC.
- 396 career blocks is tied with UConn's Rebecca Lobo for 15
