- The Chattanooga Mocs dropped a 77-75 overtime game to visiting Jacksonville State in the finals of the Cayman Islands Classic – Mainland Bracket – in McKenzie Arena today. The Mocs drop to 2-3 overall while the Gamecocks improve to 4-1.
- Mocs are 17-5 all-time against Jacksonville State … UTC faces the Gamecocks on the road on Dec. 21.

Rodney Chatman hit a three with nine seconds left in regulation to knot the game at 70 and send it into overtime.
- UTC led 62-56 with 5:14 left to play, following a
David Jean-Baptiste three-pointer … it equaled the largest lead of the game by either team.
- The score was tied 10 times and the lead changed 10 times.
- The Mocs were just 1-6 from the floor, 0-3 from behind the arc, in OT … shot 23-43 (53.5%) and 10-19 (52.6%) from behind the arc in regulation.
