TEAM
- The Mocs scored a 51-45 come-from-behind win over Samford today.  UTC improves to 14-9 overall and 8-1 in SoCon action while the Bulldogs drop to 9-15 and 2-7 overall. 

- The Mocs trailed 43-38 with 6:06 left to play, but closed the game on a 13-2 run for the win … UTC was 2-3 from the field, 1-1 from behind the arc and 8-8 from the FT line to close out the game … Samford shot 1-10 from the field and 0-6 from behind the arc in the last six minutes of play.

- UTC won the battle on the boards 30-29 … most only had one offensive rebounds in the first half and seven for the game … Samford managed nine offensive boards and held an 11-4 advantage in second-chance points … Samford entered the fourth quarter with a 24-18 edge on the boards … Mocs are 12-3 when outrebounding their opponent.

- Mocs trailed 21-10 at the break … UTC is just 2-8 this season when trailing at the half.

- UTC was down 38-35 heading into the fourth quarter … this was the Mocs' first fourth-quarter comeback of the season … Chattanooga came into the game 0-8 when trailing heading into the final frame. 

- Mocs are 20-7 all-time against Samford … 11-2 at home.

- Head coach Jim Foster's 879th career win (879-332 - .726) … tied with Dean Smith for 11th for wins among NCAA Division I men's and women's head coaches.

- Second-straight game in doubles figures … 11th this season.
- Team-high four assists … added five boards.
