- The Chattanooga Mocs posted a 61-59 comeback win over Mercer in the finals of the Southern Conference Tournament today. UTC improves to 21-10 while the Bears fall to 25-6.Â
- This is the Mocs' SoCon record fifth title in a row … 18
th overall.
- UTC is 18-0 in SoCon Tournament finals.
- This is UTC's 15th-straight win at the SoCon Tournament … last loss was 77-52 to Appalachian State in the 2012 semifinals.

- Mocs trailed at the half of a SoCon Tournament Championship game for the first time since they took a 32-25 deficit into the lockerroom against Davidson on March 11, 2013. UTC went on to win 64-63.Â
- Mercer opened second half on 13-3 run … Mocs did not score from the field until the 1:40 mark of the third quarter.
- Mercer outscored the Mocs 16-9 in the third quarter … Mercer shot 5-12 (41.6%) from the field and 3-6 (50%) from 3-pt. range, while the Mocs were 2-11 (18.1%) in that frame.Â
- UTC stormed back in the fourth quarter, outpacing Mercer 23-11 … Mocs shot 8-11 (72.7%) from the field, 3-5 (60%) from 3-pt. range and 4-5 from the FT line in the final 10 minutes … Mercer was 4-14 (28.6%) from the field with five of its 10 turnovers in the fourth quarter.

Jasmine Joyner – Sr.-F – SoCon Tournament MVP
- Team high 17 points and game-high 15 rebounds.
- Seventh double-double in last eight games … 15

- Tied a career-high with four assists.
- Played all 40 minutes … sixth time this season.

- First time the Mocs have won a game in which Joyner did not have a block since the SoCon title game last season against Mercer.
