TEAM
- The Chattanooga Mocs scored a 47-32 win over Western Carolina today.  The Mocs improved to 11-5 overall and 2-0 in SoCon action, while the Catamounts dropped to 3-13 overall and 0-2 in league play.

- 52^nd-straight SoCon home win … last time the Mocs lost a league game at home was a 57-56 setback to Appalachian State on Feb. 14, 2011 … 32-0 under head coach Jim Foster.

- Fewest points (47) in a win this season … fewest in a win since beating Furman on the road 47-40 on Jan. 12, 2015 … second win in a row scoring less than 50 points. 

- UTC shot 1-13 (7.7%) in the second quarter … scored just six points.

- Mocs trailed 26-20 With 6:04 left in the third quarter before going in a 23-3 run  that ended with a Shelbie Davenport FT with three minutes to play.

- UTC's Gilbert sisters scored 18 of the Mocs final 22 points. 

- WCU's JonTay Mitchem scored with 3:17 left in the third quarter for WCU … the Catamounts did not score again from the field until Emily Hatfield this a three with 2:45 left in the game.

- The Mocs only managed six points in the second quarter, but held WCU to just four in the final frame. 

- UTC is 72-11 all-time against WCU, including 35-5 at home … 17 straight wins … nine in a row at home.

- UTC was a season-low 2-21 (9.5%) from behind the arc … combine that with 4-14 (28.6%) and UTC was 6-35 (17.%) from three this week … came into the week leading the SoCon in threes made per game at 6.6 and 3-pt. FG% (40.2%).

- Mocs 43 boards was a season-high … just the fifth time UTC has won the battle on the boards … 5-0 in those games.

- Eight blocks is a season-high for UTC.

- Mocs committed a season-low five fouls.

Shelbie Davenport – Jr.-G
- Played 26 minutes off the bench … third most this season. 
- Two points, three assists and four boards.

Aryanna Gilbert – Sr.-G
- 11 points on 4-9 shooting, 3-3 from the FT line.
- Added seven boards and two assists in 38 minutes.

???????Keiana Gilbert – Sr.-G
- 16 points on 5-12 shooting, 6-7 from the FT line.
- Added seven boards.
- Ninth game in a row she has played 40 minutes … 11^th overall.
- Gone five games without a three … 0-5 in that stretch … 0-1 today.
- Added two steals

???????Arianne Whitaker – So.-F/C
- Season-high four blocks.
- Added five points and seven boards.
- Also had a steal in 32 minutes.
