Chattanooga Football Postgame Quotes
Chattanooga at UT Martin
Graham Stadium – Martin, Tenn.
Saturday – Sept. 15, 2018

Tom Arth, Head Coach
On capturing 34-24 win over UT Martin.
"Well, two weeks in-a-row where we have had a good lead at the end of the half, but we give up a drive at the end of the second that gives our opponent a lot of momentum going into the locker room. We came back out offensively and didn't get it done. We went three-and-out and allowed them to come back on the field. We have to put a lot of emphasis on that. We have to finish games. I felt like we were a little relaxed there late in the third quarter. We gave up some explosive plays that allowed them back in the game. That's something we have to work on."

On Tyrell Price's 40-yard TD run in the 4th.
"That was a crucial run. It all started with Torrez Finney, our fullback, he did a great job getting that block to get the run started. Tyrell [Price] made a special play. He made some people miss and broke some tackles. That was a really big play in the game."

On the play of QB Nick Tiano.
"I think Nick [Tiano] played very well. That's a tough defense to throw against. To be as efficient as he was with all the drop-eight coverages and bodies in lanes. I thought he did a fantastic job. Our wide receivers made some big-time plays. Wil Young really stepped up today and had a breakout game. That's a guy we want to keep going and see what he can do."

Wil Young, Sr.-WR
On level of play tonight against UT Martin.
"It felt great. Early in the game, I caught one over the middle and then after that I felt like I was just in a rhythm. I knew coming in to the game, they were going to zero-in on Bryce [Nunnelly] after the last two games he had. That was going to get everyone else opportunities so I just tried to make the most of it."

On what makes the offense so explosive.
"Everyone in the receiving room, it could be anyone's day. That's the beauty of our offense. Any one can step up and make plays at any time because our room is so deep."

Nick Tiano, Jr.-QB
On what was the difference against UTM.
"It was a great start to us in the first half. Obviously, getting in the red zone we need to score touchdowns. The defense that they play, we knew we were going to have a lot of underneath routes and check downs. I thought we were able to do that pretty well."

On the play of WR's Wil Young & Bryce Nunnelly.
"Wil [Young] is one of the most talented guys in the country. We want to get him the ball, anytime he is 1-on-1 I'm looking to get him the ball. Bryce [Nunnelly], another consistent day, that's what we expect out of him."

On the overall team feeling after 3-0 start.
"This is just a different team. The culture, the mood and the guys we have, we have really formed a great bond. We have great leadership and we're only concerned about winning. We are all bought in."
