TEAM
- The Mocs post a 23-14 win at Eastern Kentucky tonight...Chattanooga improves to 2-1 on the year, while EKU drops to 1-2...The Mocs are 2-1 for just the fourth time since 2000.
- UTC breaks a tie in the series with its third-straight win over the Colonels and improves to 3-2-1 all-time.
- Nick Pollard's 23-yard FG at the 5:00 mark in the second quarter was the first score against EKU in the first half this season...this includes a 10-7 loss at Big 12 Kansas State.
- UTC now has two non-conference FCS wins for the first time since 2005 when they defeated Tennessee Tech and Jacksonville State.
- Chattanooga improves to 2-1 in non-conference road games against FCS teams under Huesman. They won at Presbyterian College in 2009 and lost at Jacksonville State last season.
- EKU's T.J. Pryor hooked up with Matt Lengel for a 55-yard TD strike with 16 seconds left in the first half was the longest play the Mocs have allowed this season.
- Mocs are 10-2 when leading after three quarters under Huesman.
- Chattanooga improves to 7-0 when allowing 14 points or less under Huesman.
- UTC outrushed EKU 100-69, improving to 9-1 under Huesman when outgaining its opponent on the ground.
- Chattanooga only allowed EKU 2/15 on third downs...the Mocs' D has given up just three third-down conversions in 28 chances the last two games.
- The Mocs have not allowed a fourth-quarter score this season...the defense has not allowed a second-half point to an FCS opponent.

SR - Sloan Allison - WR
- Three catches for 47 yards.
- Career-high for receiving yards.
- Tied a career-high for catches for the second-straight game.
- Career-long 39-yard reception in the first half set up Bradford's score.
SO - Marlon Anthony - WR
- Career-high 55 receiving yards.
- Tied a career-high with four catches.
SR - Joel Bradford - WR - Preseason All-American
- Tied for game-high with six catches.
- Game-high 85 receiving yards.
- Second TD grab of the season...10th of his career.
SR - B.J. Coleman - QB - Walter Payton Award Candidate
- 26-40 for 277 yards and one TD against one INT.
- Moves into fourth place in career passing yards with 6,091...passes Mickey Brokas (1970-73)...needs 110 to pass Brian Hampton (1995-98) for third...1,139 yards short of the school record 7,230 set by Chris Sanders (1999-00).
- The fourth Moc to throw for 6,000 yards in a career.
- He has 47 career TD passes, second all-time at UTC and needs three more to break another one of Sanders' records.
- His 18 200+ passing games are second on the Mocs' career list and he is one of two Mocs in school history with six+ 300-yard passing games.
- Went 13-21 for 158 yards in the second quarter...1 TD (Bradford).
SO - Wes Dothard - LB
- Game-high and career-high 10 tackles.
- Career-high 3.0 TFLs...came into the game with just two in his previous 12 games.
- Added a breakup and a hurry.
SO - D.J. Key - DB
- First career INT
- Added five tackles.
SR - Jordan Tippit - DB
- 1st INT of the season
- 9th of his career...ties Russ Huesman (1978-81) and Quintez Smith (2003, 2005-06) for No. 6 all-time at UTC.
- Also added three solo tackles.
JR - Joshua Williams - DL
- Five tackles, including a pair of sacks.
- Broke Kenny Sanders' (1995-98) school record of 14.5 for his career...now had 15.5 in just over two seasons of action.
- Career-high three hurries in the game.
