TEAM
- 62-52 win over Jacksonville State in our bracket's championship game of the Emerald Coast Classic…record moves to 5-1, the Gamecocks are 3-6.
- 5-1 start is the best since 2002-03 season.
- 16-4 all-time against JSU…1-0 on a neutral floor…81-81 all-time against OVC membership.
- 102-50 in in-season tournament play…36 titles in such events during DI era…Mocs have won six straight in-season tourneys and eight of the last nine.
- Received a vote in this week's AP Top 25…No. 8 in CollegeInsider.com's Mid-Major Top 25 with one first-place vote.
- Led 30-21 at halftime...5-0 when leading at the break.
- JSU entered game averaging 8.6 turnovers per game…Mocs forced 14 today with 15 points coming off those miscues.
- A day after winning offensively, scoring 95 points and shooting 67.9 percent from the field, Chattanooga won defensively scoring 62 making 42.6 percent…held the Gamecocks to 52 which is 20.9 below season average of 72.9.
- 52 points is season-low total by an opponent this season…21 points given up in first half is also a season-best for Mocs defense…allowed just 43 in the first 20 minutes of the last two games.
- Out-boarded JSU 33-28...4-0 when out-rebounding opponent…+9 (19-10) in the second half.
- Mocs bench out-scored the Gamecocks' reserves 17-1.
- Seven blocks…4th time in last five contests with seven or more…averaging 6.2 for the year.
- 13 turnovers today for UTC…35 over last three games, an 11.7 average…58 in first three contests (19.3 TO/gm).
- Did not trail for one minute of the Emerald Coast Classic games in Niceville, Fla…tied for 2:52 of the 80 minutes.

- 34th multi-block game in his 38 Chattanooga appearances…121 for his career.
- 3 assists is a season high…new high for minutes played with 28.
- 2 steals matches season best from Georgia and Illinois contests.
 
Casey Jones, Sr.-F
- 11 points, six rebounds and two blocks.
- Team-high in rebounding…3rd time this season and 23rd career pacing the squad on the boards.
- 1,028 career points is No. 20 in school history behind Casey Long (1,043).
- 530 career rebounds…moved from tie for ninth in DI era to seventh…broke tie with Alphonso Pugh and passed Brandon Born (525) and Stanford Strickland (528).
 
Greg Pryor, Jr.-G
- 10 points and three steals.
- 4th game this season, 30th career in double figures.
- 3 steals in a game for 14th time in his two-plus seasons…averaging 2.8 per contest.
