TEAM
- Chattanooga captures 73-60 win at UNCG in the Greensboro Coliseum…now 17-3 on the season (7-3 on the road), 6-1 in the Southern Conference…the Spartans fall to 6-13, 2-4 in the league…first home loss for them.
- The Mocs overcame a 10-point deficit in the second half…7th second-half comeback win of the season…largest deficit overcome.
- UTC has won 12 of the last 13 and 14 of 16.
- 4th victory in the last five games against UNCG.
- 17-3 start is the best since a 26-3 beginning in 1982-83…that squad started 12-3 before a 14-game winning streak through SoCon play and capturing the 1983 tourney title…went 26-4 with a one-point loss (52-51) to Maryland in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
- Last 6-1 start in the SoCon? Last year (7-1).
- 393-221 in regular season SoCon games…154-154 on the road.
- 22-16 series lead for UTC…10-8 in Greensboro…18-13 in SoCon regular season matchups.
- The Mocs are in first-place in the SoCon at 6-1… ETSU is second at 5-1, while Mercer and Wofford are tied at 4-2.

- Chattanooga entered the contest first in 3pt percentage in the SoCon at 38.9 percent, while UNCG was last in 3pt percentage defense at 41.0 percent…visitors shot a blistering 50 percent (11-22) largely behind the scalding hot shooting hand of Eric Robertson (7-11).
- Down 35-29 at intermission…3-3 when behind at the break…29 points is the fewest in the first half since the same total in the win at Dayton…44-25 margin in the second frame.
- Season-low 25 rebounds…fewest since 22 in the home win over The Citadel on Jan. 31 last season…5-2 when out-boarded.

- 4th straight game in double figures…averaging 18.0 per contest over that span.
