TEAM
- The Chattanooga Mocs scored a 74-62 win over Mercer in their first Southern Conference home game of the season … UTC improves to 13-2 overall and 2-0 in league play … Mercer is 11-4 and 1-1 in SoCon action. 

- UTC raced out to an early 22-point lead (29-7) following two free throws by Greg Pryor with 9:04 left in the first half … Mercer cut it to two points twice late in the game … the last was 60-58 after a pair of Jordan Strawberry FTs with 2:59 left to play.

- UTC is 13-2 for the first time since starting the 1983-84 season 14-2.

- Chattanooga improves to 11-0 when scoring 70+ points.

- Mercer won the battle on the boards 36-34 … only the fourth time this season UTC has been outrebounded … Mocs are 3-1 in those games … Mercer came into the game No. 9 in the nation with an 11.5 rebound advantage per game. 

- UTC tied a season-high with nine blocks as a team … Justin Tuoyo had three to capture the school career record (132). 

- Mocs forced Mercer into 17 turnovers, their second-highest total of the season … the Bears still had more points off of turnovers, scoring 21 on UTC's 12 miscues … compared to 18 for Chattanooga.

- Mercer's seven assists were a season-low. 

INDIVIDUAL
Johnathan Burroughs-Cook – Jr.-G
- Scored 15 points in 14 minutes off the bench.
- Shot 4-10 from the field … 1-3 from 3-pt. range and 6-6 from the FT line.
- Added four boards, two assists and a steal.
- Fourth game with 10+ points … third in last six games.
- Averaging 10.7 ppg game last six outings. 

Tre' McLean – Jr.-G
- Scored 10 points on 4-11 shooting, 2-5 from 3-pt. range.
- Game-high nine boards.
- Fourth time leading team in rebounding.
- Nine boards in each of last two games.
- Tied a career-high with two blocks. 

Greg Pryor – Jr.-G
- First career double-double with 17 points and a career-high and game-high 10 assists.
- Shot 4-10 from the floor, 3-7 from 3-pt. range and 6-6 from the FT line.
- First time a Moc had a double-double points and assists since Gee McGhee (17/10) against Maine on Dec. 30, 2013.
- Has 199 career assists.
- Tied a career-high with 38 minutes.
- Had one steal to become the 10th Moc to reach the century mark in a career.

Eric Robertson – Sr.-G
- Scored nine points on 3-6 shooting from 3-pt. range.
- 150 career three's passes Ronrico White (2012-15) for 10th all-time at UTC.

Justin Tuoyo – Jr.-F
- Scored 11 points on 3-7 shooting, 5-7 from the FT line.
- Added five boards, three blocks and two assists.
- 135 career blocks breaks a tie with Stanley Lawrence (1980-83) for the all-time record at UTC.
