- UTC jumped out to a 12-0 lead and never looked back … led 23-4 halfway through the first half … 46-17 at the break … largest lead was 75-26 with 10:19 left to play following a Rodney Chatman three.

- Largest margin of victory in the Matt McCall era (2^nd year).

- School-record 17 3-pt. FGs made … shot 17-35 (48.6%) … 8-14 (57.1%) in the second half.

- Mocs outscored the Tigers 40-14 in the paint.

- Mocs improved to 35-5 in home openers in the DI era (since 1977-78).

- UTC opened its home schedule with a win over Hiwassee for the third-straight season … 7-0 all-time vs. the Tigers.
