Post-Game Quotes at Kennesaw State
Kennesaw, Ga. – Nov. 26 – KSU Convocation Center

Matt McCall,
Head Coach
On today's effort:
"Games like this are difficult a lot of times. This time of year, you're on the road, there's a lot going on today in athletics…you really have to create your own energy. I really thought we fought human nature in the game and tried to get ourselves against a good team that is difficult to prepare for."
Â
On 6 players in double figures:
"That should be how the game is played every night. I'd still like to have a few more assists and fewer turnovers, but six guys in double figures tells me we played the game the right way."
Â
On rebounding effort:
"There were times where we were gambling defensively. It took us out of [rebounding] position. It was a huge key in the game. When you can put
Tre' McLean,
Casey Jones,
Makinde London and
Justin Tuoyo out there, not too many teams should be able to out-rebound us if we are focused on the right things. We did that. I thought
Greg Pryor rebounded well, really all of our guys did for the most part."
Â
On Casey Jones' return:
"I'm happy for Casey. Our team is better with him out there. He didn't try to force anything and he got 10 points, three rebounds and two assists. It's just nice to have him out there. Hopefully, he'll continue to stay healthy going forward."
Â
Greg Pryor, Sr.-G
On getting a win after a full week following Arkansas State loss:
"We had a week of practice to get our bodies right for this one. We knew we had to work on ourselves before we could work on somebody else. We got better as a team this week. Our chemistry and connectedness really came through."
Â
Did that connectivity show on the second half efforts on the boards:
"It showed that we really are trusting each other more. You have to do everything for the man beside you on the floor, and for everybody else that has on a Chattanooga jersey. We understand we're going to get everybody's best effort against us, so we have to stay together, do what we do and it will come through for us."
Â
Tre' McLean, Sr.-G
On getting the road win:
"Kennesaw is a tough team to prepare for and play against. The flex [offense] makes it tough on us defensively. It was a good team win where we got back to doing what we're supposed to do."
Â
Defensive effort against Kendrick Ray:
"Kendrick Ray is a phenomenal player. He'll be one of the more talented players we'll play against this year. Give credit to [Johnathan] Burroughs-Cook, Rod [Chatman], [
Greg Pryor and Nat [Dixon]…they did a good job making it tough on him tonight. I feel like we did a good job [as a team] of making it tough on him. We knew we needed to do that to come away with a win."
