Matt McCall, Head Coach
Opening statement.
"We're really proud of our team these last three games after our New York trip. Especially in these last two games, defensively we have really been disruptive and I'm proud of our team for that. They have the right focus and mentality in regards to that, and when you take care of the defense then the offense takes care of itself. I'm just really proud of our team."

On getting in a groove the last three games.
"I think the practice time recently has been a key factor. I feel our team is getting better and that's the most important thing. Even a game like tonight where we stretched a lead, I told the team that you need to get better out there tonight. We need to work on the things we've been working on and get better at it. We've been making great strides in that regard. The practice time has been great for our team."

On playing hard tonight.
"I showed the team a video last night of them (ULM) just playing harder than their opposition, even against us last year. They just play harder than teams. Playing harder is putting your body in the right position, boxing out and making hustle plays. We had a 23 point lead and there was a loose ball, and I think it was Makinde (London) who dove on the floor for it, and that's what it's about. Those are the things that going into winning, and we had to make those type of plays against a team like that. I'm really proud of our guys for that tonight."

Justin Tuoyo, Sr.-F
On team defense.
"We're loving it so far. We pride ourselves on defense. We're a defensive team and that's our identity. The last couple days we just tried to focus on that. When we play on edge, we're a great defensive team."

On upcoming winter break.
"We're always together during winter break. It's like the summer all over again. You're just grinding, connecting, and trying to go out and win games together like everything is the same."

Greg Pryor, Sr.-G
On gaining control in today's game.
"Monroe is a very good team and has a lot of great players. We have been focusing on defense and playing good team defense. We put in a lot of focus to scout players and personnel. We've been focusing on defense and rebounding and I think we came out and did that tonight."

Approach to Marshall game on Tuesday.
"Every game we give it everything we have. It's a game just like any other one and we're just going out there and playing Chattanooga basketball the best we can."

On what makes the defense click.
"It's trust and loving each other. The game is more fun when you're getting stops and you can get out on the break and run. That allows you to play the style of basketball that you like to play. Playing defense and getting stops is always fun."
