- The Mocs scored a 96-85 win over Marshall at home tonight … UTC improves to 7-2 overall while the Thundering Herd dropped to 5-3.
- Chattanooga overcame an eight-point, 41-33 halftime deficit with 63 points in the second half … most in a half since scoring 77 against The Citadel in a 125-85 win last season on Feb. 1, 2016.Â
- The game was back-and-forth most of the night with four ties and 14 lead changes.
- Mocs trailed 57-50 following an Austin Loop three-pointer by Marshall with 13:21 left to play … Mocs went on a 14-2 run to take control of the game with a
Tre' McLean layup at the 9:44 mark … McLean had 12 of the 14 points in that spurt.
- Herd tied the game at 70 at the 6:09 mark … Mocs slowly built the lead back up the rest of the way … 9/11 from the FT line last three minutes of the game.
- UTC shot 69.9% from the field (19-28) in the second half.
- 5-14 from the FT line the first half (35.7%) … 22-28 (88.0%) in the second half.
- Mocs dominated points in the paint 46-32 … 46 in the paint are a season-high.
- UTC won the battle on the boards 33-29 … 3-0 when outrebounding its opponent this season … 24-0 in the McCall era. Â

- Tied a season-high with 13 points in 24 minutes off the bench.
- Shot 5-7 from the field, 1-2 from behind the arc and 2-2 from the FT line.
- Added four boards, two assists, two steals and a block.
Greg Pryor – Sr.-G
- 15 points on 3-6 shooting and 9-11 from the FT line.
- Season highs for FTM and FTA.
- Team-high four assists.
Tre'McLean – Sr.-G
- Best game of his career with 35 points, five boards and five steals.
- Career-high in scoring and steals.
- Tied a career-high with 38 minutes.
- Shot 11-17 from the field, 3-4 from behind the arc and 10-13 from the FT line.
- Steal No. 100 in his career.
- Most points in a game by a Moc since Z. Mason had 41 against Hiwassee on Dec. 10, 2013.
- Most points against a Division I opponent since Ricky Taylor had 41 against UNCG on Jan. 27, 2011.Â
