TEAM
- Chattanooga nets 67-65 triumph in the regular season finale at VMI…record improves to 26-5 on the season, 15-3 in the Southern Conference…the Keydets fall to 9-20, 4-14 in the league.
- 11-4 road record…shatters school record for wins away from the Scenic City of eight…won eight in 1981-82 (8-3), 1991-92 (8-5), 1992-93 (8-3) and 2002-03 (8-5).
- The Mocs have the outright claim to their 11th Southern Conference Regular Season Championship…first since 1994, the last opportunity for such a crown until 2013-14…finished second the last two years.
- No. 1 seed in the upcoming Southern Conference Championships in Asheville, N.C., March 4-7…face winner of Samford-VMI at Noon on Saturday, March 5.
- SoCon Seeds: (1) UTC, (2) ETSU, (3) Furman, (4) Wofford, (5) Western Carolina, (6) UNCG, (7) Mercer, (8) Samford, (9) VMI and (10) The Citadel...top six earn first round byes.
- The Mocs are 42-10 (.808) in league play since the start of 2013-14…19-7 (.731) on the road.
- 26th win extends the school record wins in the REGULAR SEASON…now one shy of the overall mark of 27 set by the 1977 NCAA DII Champions (27-5) and 1982 SoCon titlists (27-4).
- Last 10 Games: 8-2…Last 20: 17-3.
- Lead the series 41-11…swept regular season meetings (85-59 in Chattanooga)…won last seven and eight of past nine…16-7 in Lexington…36-9 in SoCon regular season games.
- 402-223 in regular season SoCon games…158-155 on the road.

- Led 36-35 at the half…22-0 when leading at intermission.
- 9th comeback victory on the season…trailed by as many as seven (38-45) with 14:49 left in the game.
- 26-9 spurt flipped seven-point deficit (38-45) into 10-point lead (64-54) over an 11:28 span.
- +11 on the boards with 48-37 advantage...19-0 when out-boarding opponents.
- Season-high 21 offensive rebounds…17-8 margin in second chance points.
- +7 in turnover margin (9-16)…14-2 lead in points off turnovers…19-1 when committing fewer miscues than opponents.
- Shot a season-low 32.3 percent (21-65) from the field…4th victory when shooting less than 40 percent.
- Struggled from the FT line make 20 of 36 (55.6%).
 
INDIVIDUAL
Tre' McLean, Jr.-F
- 4th double-double with 16 points and 12 rebounds.
- 4-9 FG, 8-11 FT.
- 8th time leading the team in scoring, 13th in rebounding.
- 28 points and 25 rebounds in two meetings with VMI.
 
Greg Pryor, Sr.-G
- 13 points hitting 3-6 from 3pt range.
- 16th game in double figures in 2015-16…42nd career.
 
Duke Ethridge, Sr.-F
- 11 points and season-high nine rebounds off the bench.
- 4-8 FG, 3-4 FT.
- Tied season best with two blocks.
