Top 10 Plays of 2015-16: No. 6

No. 6 – McLean Slam Puts Exclamation Point on Comeback “Road” Win.

GoMocs.com's summer series, Top 10 Plays of 2015-16, continues this week with No. 6. Check out No. 10, No. 9, No. 8 and No. 7 here.

The Mocs opened Southern Conference play on the road at The Citadel. The preseason No. 1 vs. No. 9…walk in the park right? Wrong.

The Bulldogs gave their visitors all they could want. The home team was in control of the game leading by six, 72-66, at the under four media timeout (3:58). Operative term…was.

It took 91 seconds to flip a six-point deficit into a four-point advantage with no looking back in an 84-78 triumph. The key play was Tre' McLean's slam off a Greg Pryor steal that gave the good guys the lead for good with 3:12 to go.

Here's the slam along with thoughts from coach Matt McCall.

They took the lead in a mere 46 seconds. Check out this thought from Eric Robertson on the comeback and how McAlister Fieldhouse felt like a home game with McLean's family and friends out to support the Mocs in his hometown.

It's just another example of the resiliency of this team. They showed it time and time again throughout the campaign.
