TEAM
- The Chattanooga Mocs posted an 80-64 win over Furman at home tonight.  UTC improves to 12-4 overall and 3-1 in SoCon play, while the Paladins dropped to 10-7 and 3-1 in league action.

- Mocs hold a 54-27 lead in the all-time series … 30-7 at home. 

- All 12 of Chattanooga's wins this season have been by double-digits.

- UTC won the battle on the boards 30-27, but trailed 16-14 in second chance points … Furman capitalized on an 11-7 edge in offensive rebounds … Mocs are 28-2 when winning the battle on the boards under head coach Matt McCall.  

- UTC got 17 points off the bench – nine from Makinde London and eight from Rodney Chatman … third game in a row with at least 17 points from the reserves … Furman did not get any scoring from its second unit. 

- Furman duo of Devin Sibley (25) and Kris Acox (18) scored 45 of the teams 64 points on 17-30 shooting (56.7%) … rest of the team was 7-27 from the field (25.9%).

- Furman's 64 points were their fewest in a SoCon game this season … UTC's 80 points were the second-most they have allowed this season.

- Furman took a 42-40 lead with 15:26 left in the game … Mocs used a 15-3 run over the next five minutes to build a 55-45 advantage with 10:13 left to play … Makinde London scored seven points in that spurt.

- UTC held a 35-29 advantage at the break … Mocs are 34-2 when leading at the half under head coach Matt McCall … 11-2 this season.

- Chattanooga is 19-3 in last 22 homes games.

- Mocs are 81-35 (.698) over the last four seasons … most wins in the state of Tennessee and the SoCon in that stretch. 

- UTC shot 23-43 (53.5%) from the field … seventh time this season 50% or better … Mocs came into the game leading the SoCon at 48.6% … 36-4 when shooting over 40% under McCall … 21-1 when outshooting opponent. 

INDIVIDUAL
Johnathan Burroughs-Cook – Sr.-G
- Season-high and team-high 19 points.
- 13 in the first half.
- 4-8 from the field, 3-4 from behind the arc and 8-10 from the FT line.
- Career-highs in FTs made and attempted.
- Tied a career high with three threes. 
- Ninth game in double-figures this season.

Greg Pryor – Sr.-G
- 13 points on 4-4 shooting, 3-3 from 3-pt. range and 2-2 from the FT line.
- Added four assists and three rebounds.
- 113 career starts is now second all-time at UTC … Willie White (1981-84) has the school mark at 119. 

Justin Tuoyo – Sr.-F
- 15 points on 5-6 shooting, 5-7 from the FT line.
- Came into the game leading the SoCon and No. 12 in the nation in FG% (62.6%).
- Added a game-high eight boards and three blocks.
- 239 blocks passes College of Charleston's Jody Lumpkin (1998-01) for fourth all-time in the SoCon.
- Sixth-straight game in double-figures.
