TEAM
- The Mocs scored a 64-50 win over Charlotte in McKenzie Arena today.  UTC improved to 5-5 overall while the 49ers dropped to 3-6.

- Chattanooga is 3-2 all-time against Charlotte … UTC is 81-73 against current members of the C-USA.

- UTC hit its first seven shots from the field to open up a 16-11 lead after a Rodney Chapman layup at 14:03 in the first half … Mocs were 3/16 with eight turnovers the rest of the half.

- Chattanooga led 25-11 following a Makale Foreman three with 6:22 in the first half.  Charlotte closed on an 18-4 run to tie the game at 29-29 at the break … Mocs did not have a FG in the last 6:22 of the first half.  

- This game featured six ties and seven lead changes until the Mocs pulled away in the last eight minutes.   

- Leading 46-44 Chatman hit a pair of FTs at the 8:02 mark to spark a 17-4 run over the next six minutes to take control of the game.  49ers went over four minutes without a FG during that stretch.

- UTC allowed 17 points on 10 turnovers in the first half … two points on four turnovers in the second.

- Mocs forced Charlotte into a season-high-tying 20 turnovers … UTC held the advantage with a season high in points-off-turnovers 26-19.

- Season-high nine steals for UTC.

- Won the battle on the boards 33-27 … UTC is 5-2 when out-rebounding its opponents … +28 on the glass last three games (all DI opponents) … -36 first five games vs. DI.   

- Chattanooga only gave up two offensive boards, while grabbing eight … 7-2 in second-chance points.

- Second game with 20+ points.

- Game-high nine boards … 36 boards last three games.
- Tied for game-high with a career-high four assists.
