• Chattanooga fell 82-62 to Louisville to end its season in the first round of the NCAA Tournament … the Mocs are 21-11 overall … Louisville improves to 28-7 and will advance to play Dayton/Tennessee in the second round Monday.
• Chattanooga is 1-15 in the NCAA Tournament.
• UTC was 12-of-56 from the field, 37.5% … The Mocs were 10-of-27 from the 3-point line … tied for second most 3-pointers made this season
• Louisville outscored UTC 46-16 in the paint and 22-13 off turnovers, forcing the Mocs into 15 miscues … Chattanooga led 10-4 on second chance points with 12 offensive rebounds
• Louisville outrebounded the Mocs 34-29
• Chattanooga led 8-5 at the 5:49 mark of the first quarter … Louisville went on a 15-0 run to lead 20-8 with 1:09 to play in the quarter … the Mocs cut the lead to 32-28 with 3:12 to play in the second quarter, outscoring Louisville 20-12 with four 3-pointers in the run.
• Louisville led 40-30 at the half … UTC got no closer than seven points, twice, the rest of the way.
