Hall of Fame: Anderson Looks Back on Her Amazing Career

Full Bio

Alex Anderson was a two-time Southern Conference Player of the Year from 2005-08.  She graduated as the No. 5 all-time leading scorer at UTC with 1,732 career points.  She is also No. 2 in career rebounds with 1,010.

The 2008 SoCon Female Athlete of the Year, Anderson guided the Mocs to three-straight NCAA Tournament appearances and was twice named the SoCon Tournament MVP.  She led the league in scoring and rebounding as a junior and senior, including a school record 677 points in 2007.

Following her collegiate career, Anderson was taken by the San Antonio Silver Stars with the 39th pick in the 2008 WNBA Draft.  She has played professionally in Israel, Turkey and Spain, and is currently with Catz in Finland, where they are going for their third straight Cup Championship.
