Katasha Brown was a two-time Southern Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Year and helped lead the Lady Mocs to their most successful four-year run in school history. UTC went 107-17 during her career, advancing to the postseason and winning the SoCon regular season title all four years.

In 2004, Brown guided the Lady Mocs to a 29-3 record and a memorable 74-69 win over Rutgers in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. She won her first SoCon Player of the Year honor that season, guiding UTC to both the SoCon regular season and tournament titles.

She was again named SoCon Player of the Year as a senior when UTC went 27-4 and returned to the NCAA Tournament in 2006. Brown is currently seventh on the Lady Mocs all-time scoring list with 1,472 points. She is third all-time in the SoCon three-point field goals with 216.
