Turner Jackson is a two-time NCAA Division II National Champion who wrestled for the Mocs from 1972-76. He was 33-0 in 1975 when he won his first title at 158 pounds. He came back as a senior in 1976 to repeat with a 31-2 record. He had a run of 55 consecutive wins over his last two seasons.
The four-time Southern Open Champion was 116-15 during his career. He is third in wins and fourth in winning percentage (.886) at UTC. He also won two SEIWA titles and was honored as the Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame Amateur Athlete of the Year in 1976.Â
