Lady Mocs Down Wofford 82-61 in Spartanburg

SPARTANBURG, S.C. --- Freshman Kori Penland scored a career-high 15 points and Erin Ogan had a double-double to lead the Lady Mocs to an 82-61 Southern Conference win over Wofford Saturday at Benjamin Johnson Arena.

Tenisha Townsend sparked the Lady Mocs offense with 10 points, making both of her attempts from beyond the arc. LaCondra Mason just missed a double-double with eight points and 11 boards.
The Lady Mocs outrebounded the Terriers 42-33 and shot 51.8 percent overall and 50 percent from the 3-point line. This is the third straight game in which the Lady Mocs have scored 80 or more points.
Chattanooga improves to 6-3 overall and 3-0 in SoCon action with its fourth consecutive victory of the season and Wofford falls to 1-7 overall and 0-2 in league play.
