- With the 68-52 win, the Lady Mocs remain tied with Samford for the Southern Conference lead at 11-1...Chattanooga is 15-6 overall while Furman falls to 10-11 and 4-8 in SoCon action.
- UTC used a 29-4 run in the second half to push a 38-32 deficit into a 61-42 cushion.
- Chattanooga trailed 30-26 at the break...only the second time this season UTC has been behind in SoCon action...the first for a home game....UTC has trailed at the break eight times overall and has comeback to win three of those games.
- UTC is now on a season-high six game winning streak.
- Chattanooga is now 36-20 over the Paladins. The win is Chattanooga's 17th consecutive win over Furman...the last loss to the Paladins was at home on Feb. 11, 2002
- Tonight's win was the 22nd consecutive home Southern Conference win...the last time the Lady Mocs lost at home in league action was an 80-72 loss to Western Carolina in overtime on Jan. 13, 2007.
Chattanooga shot a season-best 52.9% from the floor ? the fifth time UTC has shot 50 percent or better this season...the Lady Mocs were just 26.7% (4-15) from 3-pt. range...however, UTC shot 23-36 (63.9%) from inside the arc.
- UTC's four 3-pt. FGs tied a season-low for the fourth time.
- Chattanooga scored 21 points on 17 TOs by Furman...The Paladins were only able to get two points off of 11 UTC miscues.
