- Chattanooga falls to 20-8 on the year and 16-3 in SoCon action...Western Carolina improves to 16-11 and 12-6.
- The Lady Mocs shot 2-18 (11.1) from 3-pt. range and 18-52 (34.6%) overall...it is Chattanooga's lowest percentage from behind the arc and their fewest made this season.
- With the loss, Chattanooga falls a half-game behind Samford (21-4, 16-2) in the race for the Southern Conference regular season crown...UTC has won the last nine SoCon regular season titles.
- Today's loss snaps Chattanooga's 24-game home court winning streak in Sothern Conference play...Their last loss in McKenzie Arena was also against the Catamounts, 80-72 in overtime on Jan. 13, 2007.
-The Lady Mocs never led in the game today.
- Down by 12 49-37 with 8:26 left in the game, UTC cut the lead to two points, 54-52 on a pair of FTs by Jenaya Wade-Fray. Senior LaCondra Mason had a chance to tie the game at the FT line with four second left in the game, but missed both FTs.
