- With the 72-61 win, the Lady Mocs improve to 19-6 on the season and 15-1 in SoCon action...the Cougars fall to 17-7 and 10-6 in conference play...Chattanooga remains in sole possession of first place in the SoCon race.
- Lead 56-55 with 5:32 left in the game, UTC went on a 16-6 run to close out the game.
- Chattanooga seemed to have the game in hand, leading 54-40 following a jumper by senior Erin Ogan at the 10:02 mark...Over the next 6:34 the Lady Mocs went 0-3 from the floor, 0-2 from the FT line and committed four turnovers.
- At one point in the game, UTC missed nine consecutive FTs and was 6-17 from the line late in the second half...UTC finished the game making 11-12 to seal the win...they shot 17-29 (58.6%) from the charity stripe for the game.
- College Of Charleston got 25 points off the bench, compared to just 12 for the Lady Mocs subs.
-Despite cutting the lead to one in the second half, the Cougars never led in the game.
- With the win, the Lady Mocs extend their SoCon home court winning streak to 24 games....UTC is 12-2 at home overall in 2008-09.
- Chattanooga leads the all-time series 22-5...The Lady Mocs have won 17 straight in the series with the last Cougar win on Dec. 31, 2001. The Lady Mocs are 11-1 against College of Charleston in Chattanooga.
