Lady Mocs Travel to Florida for Second Spring Event

The Lady Mocs will be looking to improve on its 16th place finish at the Wildcat Invitational. Of the competition is a little different as UTC enters as the second highest ranked team in the field.
The 54-hole, two-day event is played at the Eagle Landing Golf Club. The tournament begins Monday with a shotgun start as the teams will 36 holes over the 6,282-yard par-72 course tract. Tuesday will feature 18 holes with starting times based on the teams' finish on Monday.
Two Southern Conference schools, Elon and UNC Greensboro, will be in attendance Other schools included in the 14-team field:
Freshman Maria Salinas leads the Lady Mocs with a 75.67 scoring average. Sophomore Emma de Groot is second on the squad at 76.0.
