TEAM
- The Lady Mocs scored a 57-55 win over Georgia Southern tonight...Chattanooga improves to 10-6 on the year and 5-2 in the SoCon...GSU falls to 7-7 and 2-3 in SoCon action.
- Freshman Kayla Christopher hit a 3-pt. FG with 3.3 seconds left in the game to give UTC the win.
- The Lady Mocs won their fourth game in the last seven days.
- Chattanooga's 57 points was their fewest in a win this season.
- The Lady Mocs got 15 offensive boards that led to 18 second-chance points in the game tonight...UTC outrebounded the Eagles 44-34 overall.
- The Lady Mocs went cold from the field for a stretch in the first half. They did not have a field goal for a six-minute period, going 0-5 from the field with four turnovers in that period.
- Trailing 37-29, senior Shanara Hollinquest and freshman Kayla Christpher combined to scored the next 17 points for UTC to get the Lady Mocs back in the game. Christopher's second-consecutive 3-pt. FG cut the lead to 46-42 with 10:08 left in the game. She tied the game at 51 with a jumper at the 7:06 mark.

- Shot 7-15 from the field and 5-7 from the FT line
- Eighth double-double of the season and the 23rd of her career
- Leads the SoCon in scoring (18.9 ppg) and rebounding (9.0 ppg)
- Has 1,440 career points, ranking No. 7 on the Lady Mocs' all-time list...needs 33 points to pass Katasha Brown (2002-06) for No. 6.
- Has 740 career rebounds...needs 29 more to pass Kim Brown (1988-93) for seventh place.
- Made her 405th free throw over her career. Just the second player in Lady Mocs history to make over 400 FTs. Needs 13 to reach Regina Kirk's (1984-88) spot at No. 1.
