- The Lady Mocs fall in their season opener, 77-60, for the second year in a row to ETSU...UTC also lost the first game of the 2009-10 season to the Lady Bucs 85-61 in Johnson City.
- UTC is now 46-21 all-time against ETSU.
- Chattanooga drops to 18-19 all-time in season openers, including a 5-8 mark in the Wes Moore era.
- Junior Bailey Dewart gave the Lady Mocs a 52-50 edge with two free throws at the 9:41 mark...ETSU then went on a 12-0 run to take control of the game, outscoring UTC 27-8 to close out the game.
- ETSU outscored Chattanooga 36-22 in the paint.
- Lady Bucs Tara Davis had 18 points on 6-9 shooting, 3-5 from 3-pt. range and 3-3 from the FT line in the first half...she finished with a game-high 23 points and seven assists.

Sophomore Kayla Christopher

Junior Whitney Hood
- 15 points on 6-15 shooting, 3-5 from the FT line in her UTC debut.
- Added five boards.
Sophomore Kylie Lambert
- Tied a career-high with five boards.
- Added six points on 2-5 shooting, 2-2 from the FT line.
- 28 minutes off the bench.
Junior Tenisha Townsend
- 12 points on 4-12 shooting, 4-10 from 3-pt. range.
