TEAM
- The Lady Mocs fall to 3-5 on the year following a 79-64 loss to No. 14 Kentucky...The Wildcats improve to 7-1 on the year.
- UTC has face three ranked opponents from the SEC, including No. 4 Tennessee (L, 43-102 on Nov. 15) and No. 18 Georgia (L, 69-79 on Nov. 19).
- Six of the Lady Mocs first eight opponents advanced to the 2009-10 postseason.
- Kentucky used a 12-2 run midway through the first half to push to a 36-28 lead at the break.
- Chattanooga hit its first six shots from the field in the first half to get back into the game. Kayla Christopher's 3-pointer with 15:35 on the clock gave UTC a 45-43 lead.
- The Wildcats put together a 17-4 run over the next six minutes to regain control of the game.
- Kentucky's bench outscored Chattanooga's reserves 42-11.
- There was a big gap at the foul line as UTC went 3-7 compared to UK's 11-15 performance.
- Chattanooga was outscored in the paint 48-32.

Sophomore Kayla Christopher
- 14 points on 5-14 shooting, 2-5 from 3-pt. range and 2-2 from the FT line.
- 14 FG attempts is a season-high.
Junior Whitney Hood
- Team-high 19 points.
- Shot 9-15 from the field and 1-3 from the FT line.
- Team-high eight boards.
- Averaging 9.3 rpg over the last three games.
Junior Tenisha Townsend
- 13 points on 5-12 shooting, 3-6 from 3-pt. range.
- Added four assists.
- 22 assists and just five turnovers in her last five games.
Sophomore Kylie Lambert
- Career-high and game-high six assists against one turnover.
- Tied a career-high and tied for game high with three steals.
